The Catholic University Monks, Kabras RFC, Kakamega RFC and the Technical University of Kenya will be battling in the Nationwide Semi finals with the winners taking up the two slots available in the top flight.

Catholic University Monks v Kakamega RFC (3.00pm Catholic University, Karen)

The Monks got to this semi final after edging out the University of Eldoret 17-12 in the quarter finals, after finishing top of the Nairobi conference on 54 points. The Monks are not new to this stage having won the defunct Universities league last year.

Kakamega RFC got here after beating Coast region representatives Masaku 30-15 in the quarter finals, they were runners up in the Western Conference . The Western side will be no push overs for the Monks having played in the ESS last season and will be looking to go one better.

Technical University of Kenya v Kabras Sugar RFC (3.00pm Nazarene University)

Hot favourites Kabras will be travelling to Rongai to face TUK for a slot in the 2014/15 Kenya Cup.

The Millers are yet to taste defeat this season and in many books have this Nationwide title already in the bag. The Western Conference champions blew past Thika RFC 61-0 in the quarter finals.

TUK were handed the second slot in the Nairobi Conference after USIU were disqualified. They took this chance with both hands, beating Egerton 27-12 in the Quarter finals. The side will be looking to make the most out of this second chance by doing what no other side in this division has managed to do.

The winners from this two matches will meet in the final on 8th but will have already booked a spot in the 2014/15 Kenya Cup.
